This was the seventh edition of this event brought for both national and international. The competition can go for maximum three-days, on the other side renowned yoga instructors will conduct the yoga modules across the world. One of the fascinating thing was electric music, featuring artist from all over the world and the global.
The message of this festival is based on importance of good health and wellness and to provide a plateform for india’s artist show their talents. It was conceptualized to promote stand ups of surfing sport in india. The promoter of covelong point surf, music and yoga festival, Arun Vasu decided to promote cultural tourism and better facilitate social change.
The brand ambassador for this festival was Jonty Rhodes, the world’s famous south African former cricketer and his presence will be throughout the weekend. On this special occasion, brand ambassador Jonty said that “ india is haven nature country with thousands of kilometres of shores and beaches for the sport of surfing”. We can see that surfing champions emerge from this country. The fact that surfing has emerged as opne of the disciplines for the next Olympics augurs and soon it will gain larger acceptance across the world.
This is the one of the biggest kind festival of surf, music, and yoga featured with a full-fledged carnival over 50 stalls showcased unique products and specially food stalls and trucks were available. Over 20,000 peoples were visited the event over the course of the weekend.
“Surfing competition held on 2019”, has gained prominence globally with recent entry into the Olympics. Here the national surfing challenge took place, 200 best surfers in the country completed successfully and the guest identified the some surfing experts for india to participate in future Olympic events. They also featured the RAST(REnextop Asian Surfing Tour).
“On Music festival” a Grammy Nominee Carmen Rizzo, performed at the festival. This world-famous producer, mixer, programmer, and recording artist based in Los Angles, California. Among others they have worked with seal, Coldplay, Paul, Oakenfoid and Alanis Morissette. The main music show featured 3 international bands such as Blind Suns from France, Nadav Dagon and Yogev Haruvi from Israel. Another five prominent Indian bands such as Lagori, Mosko, Lady Kash.
The second smaller stage featuring up-coming artist from AR Rahman’s KM Conversatory and other local talents.
“Yoga Festival”, this year they featured four different types of yoga Shalas with eight sessions, each shalas makes one of the biggest yoga event in the country. The highlights of this event was workshop, the session is to offer a wide variety.
