வரலாறு மற்றும் அதனுடான மனிதர்களின் தொடர்பை அறிவதற்கு நமக்கு சான்றாக இருப்பது பல கற்சிற்பங்களும், தொன்மையான கோயில்களும், ஓவியங்களும்,

 அரண்மனைகளுமே ஆகும். இவை வெறும் வரலாற்று சான்றாக மட்டுமே அல்லாமல் அவை உருவாக்கப்பட்ட காலத்தின் ஒரு மாதிரியாகவும், ஒரு பிரதிபலிப்பாகவுமே வரலாற்று ஆய்வாளர்களால் பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. அவற்றின் மூலம் மக்களின் மனநிலையை புரிந்து கொள்வதற்கும், அக்காலத்தின் சமூக அமைப்பை புரிந்து கொள்வதற்கும் இச்சிற்பங்கள் பெரும் உதவியாக இருக்கின்றன.

         

ஆனால், இவை அனைத்து காலங்களிலும் அதே தன்மையுடனும் இருக்கும் என சொல்ல முடியாது. காலங்கள் மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழலின் மாற்றத்திற்கேற்ப அனைத்து வரலாற்று ஆவணங்களும் பாதிப்படையக் கூடிய வாய்ப்புகள் அதிகமாக உள்ளது என்பது நாம் அறிந்ததே.

   

          எந்த ஒரு வரலாற்று சின்னமும் காலந்தொட்டு நிலைத்து நிற்பதற்கு ஒரே ஒரு வழி அதனை ஆவணப்படுத்துதல் மட்டுமே. ஆவணம் என்பது அந்தந்த காலத்தின் வாழ்வியலை உணர்வதற்கும் அறிவதற்கும் உதவுகிறது. இவை வெறும் வரலாற்று ஆசிரியர்களின் பணியாக மட்டுமே பார்க்கப் படுகிறது. ஆனால், இவை மக்களுடைய பணி என்பதை நாம் மறந்து விட்டிருக்கிறோம் என்று கூறுகிறார் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் வரலாற்றாசிரியர் தொ.பரமசிவம்.

           அவ்விதமான ஒரு வரலாற்று ஆய்வை நம் இந்திய தொல்பொருள் ஆய்வாளர்கள்  மேற்கொண்டு அதனை ஆங்கிலேயர் ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில் ஆவணப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். அது மட்டுமல்லாமல் அந்த சிற்பங்களையும் கோயில்களையும் புகைப்படமாக மாற்றி தபால் தளத்தின் அட்டை வடிவத்தில் மக்களின் பயன்பாட்டிற்கு விடப்பட்டுள்ளது. அந்த ஆய்வாளர்கள் இதனை ஒரு பெரிய அளவில் செயல்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். ஆனால், தபால் பயன்பாடு என்பது மிகவும் குறைந்துவிட்ட சூழலில் இந்த தபால் அட்டைகள் அனைத்தும் வெறும் குப்பைகளாக போடப்பட்டுள்ளதாக அந்த  நூலகத்தின் பணியாளர் கூறுகிறார்.

              இந்த அட்டைகளின் சிறப்பு  இவை அங்கிலேயர் ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில் அச்சடிக்கப் பட்டிருக்கலாம் என கூறப்படுகிறது. அதுமட்டுமின்றி தற்போது மீண்டும் விற்பனைக்காக வைக்கப் பட்டிருக்கும் இந்த அட்டைகளின் விலை இருபது பைசா முதல் இரு ரூபாய் வரை நிர்ணயிக்கப் பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த வாய்ப்பு வரலாற்று பொருள்களை சேகரிக்கும் ஆர்வம் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு ஒரு அரிய வாய்ப்பாக அமையும்.

               இவற்றை அரசாங்கம் எந்த ஒரு பராமரிப்பும் இன்றி வைத்திருப்பது, வரலாற்று சான்றுகளை அழிக்கும் ஒரு செயலாகவே அமையும்.

First Electric Green Bus introduced in Chennai

          Chennai Metro Transport Corporation is gifted with a new Green Bus. MTC adopts new electric buses from now to control air pollution. The first air-conditioned vehicle goes on the A1 bus route four times a day depending on the charging capacity. Soon the cities of Tamilnadu will get 525 Electric buses.

Earlier, there were proposals by the Central government to bring in control of the air pollution in metro cities. The project is undertaken to base the proposals made by central government scheme namely FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid & Electric Vehicles).  The Green Bus will run from MGR Central Bus Depot to Thiruvanmiyur. The bus tickets are charged from minimum Rs.11 to Rs.25 the maximum. There are two batteries charged and swapped after one full round trip.

The Bus has no Engine and no gearbox. Ashok Leyland Company has appointed two drivers and the tickets are collected by MTC Conductor. The bus looks White and Green in colour and air-conditioned inside. The bus can carry up to 50 passengers in which 32 can sit and travel. The floor is filled with grass designed mats and the seats are arranged with comfortable legging space. The bus can travel in 40km speed and that never happens as it runs in a highly congested route.

The first bus is introduced in Chennai by the Ashok Leyland Company on a trial basis. The bus that costs about 1.5 crore looks smaller than the MTC buses which were bought at 15lacs. It uses the MNC batteries imported from China that consumes less space and stores more energy. The bus can run about two trips from Thiruvanmiyur to Central at one charge of the battery.  The speed and power consumption on this bus were continuously noted by them. The next bus would start trips on another 10days said Mr.Sathyam, an employee who monitors the present one.

There were very few people choosing this AC bus as it does not accept the concession passes. The bus is fully air-conditioned and there were two fire extinguishers along with a glass breaking hammer as safety measures.  People were not aware of the charges on the bus and did not prefer to get in. The Green bus is a real gift to the city as it would reduce race driving and control the pollution in the city.

கோட்டூர்புரம் ஹாக்கி அரசு மைதானத்தில் மாலை நேரத்தில் என்னற்றா மாணவர்கள் ஹாக்கி பயிற்சி மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர் ஆவார்கள் அனைவரும் குமார் ராஜா அரசு பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் என அங்கு பயிற்சி மேற்கொண்டு இருந்து ஆதி கூறினார். அவரிடம் பயிற்சியாளர் பற்றி கேட்ட போது அவர் கூறுகையில் அச்சிரியமாக. இருந்து பயிற்சியாளர் என தனியாக யாரும் இல்லை இங்கு இருக்கும் பசங்களின் அப்பாக்கள் அண்ணன்கள் சில பேர் முன்னாள் ஹாக்கி விளையாட்டு வீரர்கள் அவர்கள் தன் எங்கள்ளுக்கு பயிற்சி தருகிறார்கள் என்று கூறினார். அந்த முன்னாள் வீரர்களின் ஒருவரின் பிள்ளைகள் பல பேர் விளையாடி கொண்டு இருந்தானார். அவர்கள் இடம் அவர்கள் பற்றி கேட்ட போது பலர் அரசாங்கம் வேலை பார்ப்பதாகவும் ஞாயிறு மட்டும் வந்து இங்கு பயிற்சி தருவற்கள் என கூறினார்கள். அங்கு ஆதி போல்  மாணவர்கள் வந்து விளையாடுகின்றனர் அதில் அவர்கள் கூறுகையில் சிலர் தங்கள் தந்தை அண்ணன்களை பார்த்து சில பேர் தங்கள் நன்பர்கள் பார்த்து ஆர்வம் வந்தது விளையாடுவது கூறினார். அவர்கள் இடம் ஹாக்கி மைதானம் செயற்கை தரையில் ஆடப்படுகிறது. ஆனால் நிங்கள் இங்கு மண் தரையில் பயிற்சி மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர் இது கஷ்டம்மாக இல்லை என்று கேட்டதற்கு குரு என்ற மாணவர் அது . எங்களுக்கு கஷ்டம்மாக இல்லை இங்கு விட சற்று வேறு விதமாக இருக்கும் என்று கூறினார் மேலும் எழும்பூர் பகுதியில் இருக்கும் இந்தியா விளையாட்டு மேம்பாட்டு மைதானத்திற்கு சென்று பயிற்சி மேற்கொண்டு வருவம் என்று கூறினார்கள் எனவே செயற்கை தரையில் விளையாடுவது கஷ்டம்மாக இல்லை என்று கூறினார். மேலும் குரு கூறுகையில் இங்கு நடக்கும் பயிற்சி விளையாட்டு யின் போது கூட ஹாக்கி மைதானம் போல் சுற்றி கோடுகள் வரைபடம் என்று கூறினார். ஆகாஷ் என்ற மாணவர் 7 வயது யில் இருந்து பயிற்சி மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறார் என்று கூறினார். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் கூறுகையில் காந்தி நகர் பகுதியில் உள்ள அனைவரும் ஹாக்கி விளையாட்டு யின் மிது தனி காதல் கொண்டவர்கள் எங்கள் பகுதியில் பல பேர் ஹாக்கி வீரர்கள் என்று அனைவரும் கூறினார். இங்கு இருக்கும் அனைவரது கனவும் ஹாக்கி பொரிய அளவில் சாதனை செய்வது ஆகும். கூறுகின்றனர் இந்த சிறுவர்கள்.

       Amongst the array of food stalls and restaurants that line either side of J.J Nagar, Parasakthi Express Shawarma draws our attention with its bright yellow. Mogappair has a newcomer in terms of shawarma shops. 'parasakthi Express' is a shop which is heavily inspired from the cricket team Chennai Super Kings. This is evident while we have a look at the menu of this shop.

          Namma thala 07 shawarma, chinna thala shawarma are some of the infamous names on the list. Upon asking the owner, Karthik, the idea of such a name came into his mind upon seeing the craze that CSK has among the masses. “Basically, I chose to put up a shawarma stall because of the popularity of the dish. It’s easy to make and can be had as a quick snack or even for dinner. It is evident that the name of this shop is inspired from CSK. Parasakthi express is the nick name of Imran Tahir, as we all know” he said.

           

         Hot and spicy shawarma is named after MS Dhoni, Pepper shawarma after DJ Bravo and Parasakthi express shawarma is their special dish, this contains pure chicken and none of the other veggies. They also have a variety of mouth-watering kebabs. A bizarre fact is that they also serve “veg Shawarma’’ which was an instant head turner.   There is an increase in the number of shawarma shops in Chennai. This is because people expect everything quick and this is the perfect solution for this as it is made quickly and can also quench the hunger.

          “I was previously working in a BPO and didn’t feel i got the deserved pay that I should have got. I left the job and was thinking about an alternative and got a spark of starting a business and I ended up putting up this shop. So far so good.” Says Karthik who is optimistic on the future of his business.

In front of the new zonal office of Tondiarpet that is under construction there is a small shelter under which you would find the community a fridge which is provided by the North Chennai Senior Citizens Welfare association (NSWA) under the name Pagirindhu Unn.

Jyothi Ramalingam, A retired bank staff takes care of the community fridge under their association. “I just give those who want what people leave here,” says Jyothi Ramalingam.

Kathirvel, a local resident of the area says “I always feel bad when I throw away excess food. I had a doubt if people would accept the food if I give it to them directly, so I throw it. This community fridge is a great initiative. For the last week, I have been donating excess food,”

A local Bakery owner is a daily contributor to the fridge. The owner says “I leave some pieces of bun daily in this fridge and it is a small contribution that I could do to the community and those in need”.

“The food that is kept here is taken by those who want them within an hour but there are many people who leave their clothes here and it keeps accumulating” says the person who is in charge of the community fridge, Jyothi Ramalingam. So, the members of NSWA offers the clothes that are accumulated to the orphanages in the nearby areas but there are also people who take the clothes they want from here.

Jyothi Ramalingam also maintains a register in which he enters the names of those who contribute to the community fridge regularly. This is the only community fridge in Chennai which has a person who has a person who is in charge of the community fridge.

முதலமைச்சர் எடப்பாடி பழனிசாமி  (26–ந் தேதி) தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில், சென்னை பெருநகர காவல்துறை சார்பில் சென்னை பெருநகர பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகளின் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக 7 கோடியே 50 லட்சம் ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டிலான 40 அம்மா ரோந்து வாகனங்களின் சேவையை துவக்கி வைக்கும் அடையாளமாக 7 அம்மா ரோந்து வாகனங்களின் சேவையை கொடியசைத்து துவக்கி வைத்தார்.

புதிதாக அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள அம்மா வாகனம் 


பொது இடங்களில் பெண்கள் பாதுகாப்பு’’ திட்டத்திற்காக மத்திய அரசு புதுடெல்லி, சென்னை, மும்பை, கல்கத்தா, பெங்களூரு, ஹைதராபாத், அகமதாபாத் மற்றும் லக்னோ ஆகிய 8 நகரங்களை தெரிவு செய்துள்ளது. இத்திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்துவதற்காக மத்திய மாநில அரசுகளின் பங்களிப்புடன் 425 கோடி ரூபாய் சென்னை பெருநகரத்திற்கு ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இளஞ்சிவப்பு நிறம் கொண்ட அம்மா ரோந்து வாகனங்கள் மூலம், பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகளுக்கு எதிரான குற்றச் செயல்களை தடுக்கவும், அவர்களுக்கு தேவையான பாதுகாப்பை உறுதி செய்யவும், சென்னை நகரத்திலுள்ள பள்ளிகள், கல்லூரிகள், பேருந்து நிலையங்கள், ரெயில் நிலையங்கள், வணிக வளாகங்கள், மார்க்கெட்டுகள், வழிபாட்டு தளங்கள், தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனங்கள், கடற்கரை ஆகிய இடங்களில் ரோந்துப் பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்படும். இதன்மூலம், பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகளின் பாதுகாப்புக்கு தனிக்கவனம் செலுத்தப்படும்.

Shelter and rehabilitation for those without shelter

Rehoboth Educational Trust is a charitable trust that is working from 2012 as a shelter for homeless people who have no shelter and stay on the streets.

Maria Susai K. S., the founder, and manager of this trust said that “This trust was started in September 1999 to help those who are below the poverty line to learn and acquire industrial education. Then in 2012, it became a trust with three wings the approval of Commissioner of Municipal Administration”

The Home for Homeless wing of this organization provides shelter to those who need residence temporarily. This shelter is for those roadside people in Zone- area that is North Chennai. Other shelters like this one are present in Thiruvallur, Pallavaram, Chengalpattu, Avadi, and 2 more places. In Thiruvottiyur it is in two places the women division in Thiruvottiyur High Road and men division in Thirunagar street.

“The police are the one who identifies the people who have no home and guide them here” says Mr. Maria Susai.

The central government has given some norms for the trust to follow as to who can be accepted in this shelter. The list is orphan children, mentally and physically ill people, migrants, old people, and sex workers.

“Most of the people who are present here would come in by 7 pm and those who are interested will be involved in prayer, then we provide food for them and give korai mats and pillows for them” says Mr. Jagadeesh who takes care of the men division.

The centre also provides rehabilitation, medical check-ups, a reunion of some with their families, etc for those who come here regularly. The funding for this Home for Homeless is partly from the government and partly from the trust funds.

“I have been here for almost 6 months now and this place is comfortable and feels like home. The counseling and seeing others who are in a similar situation like me is helpful” says Inbakani, an aged lady from the women division of the shelter.

 ஜார்ஜ் டவுனின் மிகவும் பழமையான  பச்சையப்பன் பள்ளி கட்டிடம் ஆதரவற்ற நிலையில் கவனிப்பின்றி உள்ளது. பள்ளிக்கு பல சிறப்பு அந்தஸ்துகள் இருந்தால் அரசாங்கம் இதனை கவனிப்பின்றி வைத்துள்ளனர்
 இந்த பள்ளியில்தான் முன்னாள் முதல்வர் அண்ணாதுரை அவர்கள் வடித்துள்ளனர் இந்த பள்ளி தான் முதலில் அரசாங்க அனுமதியுடன் தனியார் நடத்தி வந்த பள்ளி, இந்தப்  தமிழ் மற்றும் தெலுங்கு என இரு மொழிகளிலும் வாருங்கள் அல்லது நடத்தப்பட்டு வந்துள்ளது இப்படி பல சிறப்பம்சங்களைக் கொண்ட இந்த பள்ளியில் தற்போதைய நிலை மிகவும் மோசமாக. உள்ளது
 தற்போது மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை குறைந்து கொண்டே வருகிறது இதற்கு காரணம். இந்த பள்ளியை சுற்றி எண்ணற்ற தனியார் பள்ளிகள் ஆனது தற்போது பல வசதிகளுடன் உள்ளதால் இந்த பள்ளிகளுக்கு இந்த பள்ளிக்கு மாணவர்களின் வருகையானது குறைந்துள்ளது. இதைப் பற்றி அங்கு பணிபுரியும் மணி என்பதுடன் கேட்டபோது. இந்த பள்ளியைச் சுற்றி எண்ணற்ற தனியார் பள்ளிகள் உள்ளன அங்கு பல வசதிகளும் உள்ளது எனவே பெற்றோர்கள் அங்கு சேர்க்கவே எண்ணுகின்றனர் இதுவே பள்ளிக்கு மாணவர்கள் வருகை குறைவாக உள்ள காரணம் என்று கூறுகிறார். இதற்கு முன் தலைமை ஆசிரியராக இருந்த ஜெயந்திரன் என்பவர் தனது ஓய்வூதிய பணத்தை இந்த பள்ளியின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்காக.. தந்து உதவினார் இந்த நிதியானது பற்றவில்லை என்று கூறினார்.
 பள்ளியை சுற்றி எண்ணற்ற கடைகள் உள்ளன. அவர்களிடம் இதைப் பற்றி கேட்டதற்கு இந்த பள்ளியின் கட்டிடம் மிகவும் பழமை ஆகிவிட்டது இவை இடிந்து விழும் நிலையில் உள்ளது சில சமயங்களில் சில சில கற்கள் கட்டிடத்தின் பகுதிகள் கீழே வந்து விழுகின்றன எப்போது இந்த கட்டிடம் ஆனது இடிந்து விழும் என ஒரு அச்சத்துடனே இருப்பதாக அந்த பகுதியில் பூக்கடை வைத்து இருப்போம் சுபாஷ் என்பவர் என்பவர் கூறினார். மேலும் அரசாங்கம் பள்ளியை சரிசெய்து தந்தாள் இந்த பகுதியில் இருக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கு பெரிதும் பயனுள்ளதாக இருக்கும் என என அவர் கூறினார். இந்தப் பகு இந்த பள்ளியில் தற்போது ஒன்று முதல் எட்டு வரையான வகுப்புகள் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன இதற்கு முன்பு இரண்டாம் வகுப்பு வரை இதன் உள்ளேயே வேறு ஒரு பள்ளியும் இயங்கிக் கொண்டு வந்ததாக கூறுகிறார் தற்பொழுது இதில் ஒரு பள்ளி ஆனது மூடப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று அந்த பகுதியில் அந்த பகுதியில் இருக்கும் புத்தக கடை வைத்திருக்கும் அசார் கூறினார்.. மாலை நேரத்தில் இரு வேறுபட்ட நிகழ்வுகள் அங்கு நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன ஒருபுறம். மூட்டைகளை சுமந்து கொண்டு. அவசரமாகச் செல்லும் கூலித் தொழிலாளிகளும் மறுபுறம் அந்த பள்ளியில் படிக்கும் மாணவர்கள் புத்தகப் பைகளுடன் வெளியே வருகிறது வெளியே வருவதும் தெரிகிறது இதில் கூலித் தொழிலாளி தொழிலாளிகளின் எங்கள் பலர் இந்த பள்ளியில் படித்து வருகின்றனர். ஆனால் தற்போது இந்த பள்ளியின் நிலை சிதைவுற்ற நிலையில் உள்ளது இப்பொழுது இந்த கட்டிடம் ஆனது இடிந்து விழும் என்ற பார்வையிலேயே பார்க்கப்படும் பார்க்கும்படி உள்ளது. என்னை அரசாங்கம் விரைவில் கவனித்து பராமரிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே அந்த பகுதியில் இருப்பவரின் கருத்தாக உள்ளது

TEMPLE HAILS FROM A GARBAGE - PALANIVEL RAJAN C

The term “Everything becomes disciplined before God” has come true in a place in Taramani. This is the story of nasty garbage turned into the temple.

      The road leading to Taramani Railway Station was at a nauseous state. The garbage of that residence formed a heap at a two days interval, which becomes an immense task for the corporation workers. The rainy days cause a foul smell out of the garbage. Every person crossing the street shut their nose at once. This became a daily routine for the people and they got used to the smell and the dump that was around. The residents of that locality tried many steps to solve this problem, but there was no change. In spite of the steps taken by the corporation, the place remained the same and the people refused to change. Finally, a solution was found by some of the youngsters of that region by creating a temple using flex boards, over a single night. And, the very next day, people started worshipping the place. “No step was taken for more than two years and many new diseases started spreading around, ”said a florist lady who is now the in-charge of that temple. God has changed the situation which man can’t, she said with a smile.

        When an illusional character can change such things, then why a man can’t.

Twisty Tails, the Chennai’s first dogs-themed cafe has recently shifted to Ananda Road in Alwarpet from Nungambakkam. Now, people who have dogs as pets or love animals can dine here and also can share some love for animals.

  Many apartments, restaurants, parks won’t allow pets there. Even if they allow we don’t have much time to care for them. So those who like pets and can’t have a dog with them can come here and care for them.

  The cafe has two sections – Puppy Love chamber, where people can play with the 16 puppies of various breeds that the restaurant has. It is on the ground floor. And there is a 110-seater Resto Café on the second floor of the building– but pets are not allowed here. Now customers can bring our pets to the shop. However, they are looking for a better place than the current one. The management assured that within one month they will make it possible.

  The breeds in Puppy Love Chamber include Havanese, Tibetian Spaniel, Bichon Frise, and Shih Tzu, all known for their extremely friendly and loving nature. People can also opt to feed the furry four-legged animals with biscuit packets sold here or If we want we can choose their Twisty treat pack which sells waffles, pancakes, and milkshakes. It will cost you just 150Rs. The Resto Cafe offers Indian, Continental, Chinese, Thai food.

  “This concept works well for dog lovers who are unable to keep pet dogs at their homes due to restrictions in apartment complexes or monetary reasons,” says G. Vikram, one of the partners of Twisty Tails. “It was my partner Rekha’s dream project to create a space for people to de-stress themselves through pet love,” he says.

Corporate School Children Doomed to Exit on the Highway

Chennai Corporation Middle School is situated on the Poonamallee bypass near Aminjakarai. The school exit falls exactly on the Poonamallee Bypass and the students are prone to meet with accident. There no other exit except the one that leads to the road.

The extension of the highway has caused to the accidents of students and the pedestrians. The middle school is run by the Chennai Corporation from 1965.Ther are about 300 students studying in this school. The school’s main gate drops exactly on the Highway. There are no other exits for the students to get away. Once the school gets over, the students rush to the gate to get out, not knowing the fastest vehicles approaching on the road. They do not notice the danger of getting hit by a vehicle.

“I studied in this school in the year 1979-84 at that time there was a single road and later they transformed into a two-way.” said Shiva, Auto-driver. “There was much causality before the median was placed; the students crossing the road met with accidents.” said Mr. Sekar, a neighbour.

We are asked by the school authorities to come and collect our children once the classes get over at 3.30pm.” said Reshma, a parent. “I myself am afraid to get in and get out of the school gate. The vehicles come faster and we need to wait until the road gets clear.” said another parent.

The headmaster of the School has refused to speak about this issue. The school staff said that the children are guided to get out by the watchman which has never happened. The PET teacher said “the School has a single entrance; I have seen the kids and their parents met with small accidents while getting out of the gate.” he added that they have informed the authorities about the issue and they said the extension will be further and the school compound would soon be demolished. This would cause the school building still closer to the road and make it worse to the students.  

 This is one of the city’s busiest roads. According to the Transparent Chennai research this is one of the accident prone spot. The auto drivers said that they have been seeing a lot of accidents taking place in front of the school. The lack of dedicated space for pedestrians and serious investigation into the accidents that happens every day is the main cause. We wish the authorities take immediate action to save the life of students.
